Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pablo Picasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in March 2018. In the Oeuvres Modernes sur Papier auction, the work Pierrot (Massine en Pierrot) sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso erzielte im März 2018 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Oeuvres Modernes sur Papier wurde die Arbeit Pierrot (Massine en Pierrot) für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
