The silver prints signed, titled, dated and numbered 3/20 and two 4/20, with the photographer's stamp, the photographer's copyright stamp, the edition stamp and the reproduction limitation stamp on the reverse. The platinum prints on Arches Platine paper, printed 1996, each signed, dated and nmbered 2/5 in pencil in the lower margin and titled and dated on the reverse. Individually mounted and framed.

Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 'Quincy Jones, East Hampton, New York', 1990 'Tom Cruise', 1992 'Leo Castelli & Jaspar Johns, N.Y.C.', 1993 'Robert Altman, New York', 1994 'Francesco Clemente', 1995 by Patrick Demarchelier was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 5,250.00 ( Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Demarchelier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 138,600.00.

Als die Arbeit 'Quincy Jones, East Hampton, New York', 1990 'Tom Cruise', 1992 'Leo Castelli & Jaspar Johns, N.Y.C.', 1993 'Robert Altman, New York', 1994 'Francesco Clemente', 1995 von Patrick Demarchelier im Mai 2014 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.452,42) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Demarchelier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 138.600,00.
