In April 2014 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Ensemble De 2 Oeuvres by Paul-Armand Gette. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,300.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul-Armand Gette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stances in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im April 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ensemble De 2 Oeuvres von Paul-Armand Gette zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.300,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul-Armand Gette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stances im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250,00.
