Admittedly, works by Paul Aïzpiri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Baie De St. Tropez Vue De Beauvallon in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,000.90).

Die Arbeit Le Pitre von Paul Aïzpiri kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.348,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Aïzpiri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Baie De St. Tropez Vue De Beauvallon im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.000,90).
