PEJAC H2O (Edición Prueba de Color) photopolymer print in black and grey with monotype in colours with gold leaf on the visor, 2019, on wove paper, signed and inscribed P.C 4 / 10 in pencil, one of ten colour proofs with monotype in a unique combination of colours (aside from the standard edition of one hundred without hand-finishing and the special edition of twenty with hand-finishing), additionally signed on the accompanying certificate of authenticity, published by the artist, Madrid Image & Sheet 694 x 975 mm.
Upper estimate price exceeded by 51 %.
In September this year Christies in New York held the auction Contemporary Edition, which included the work H2O (Edición Prueba de Color) by Pejac. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,120.00 (€ 15,120.00), 51% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pejac; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot H2O (Special Edition) sold at auction in September last year with the realized price of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 28,680.04).

Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Contemporary Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit H2O (Edición Prueba de Color) von Pejac zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 15.120,00) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pejac; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit H2O (Special Edition) im September letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 28.680,04).
