Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eagle + Stone – Series 1 by Peng Si was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,269.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peng Si have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Off Shore Laments By Wintery River in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,000.00 (€ 98,772.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eagle + Stone – Series 1 von Peng Si wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.269,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Si auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Off Shore Laments By Wintery River im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.000,00 (€ 98.772,89).
