Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Alla lunga by Piero Dorazio was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in April last year. It achieved a price of EUR 176,400.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. Admittedly, works by Piero Dorazio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Troppo segreto, 1961 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 819,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Alla lunga von Piero Dorazio kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 176.400,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piero Dorazio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Troppo segreto, 1961 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 819.000,00.
