Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Combinazione by Piero Dorazio was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction at Christies in Milan in December last year. The price achieved of EUR 252,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Piero Dorazio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Troppo segreto, 1961, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 819,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Combinazione von Piero Dorazio wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 252.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Piero Dorazio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Troppo segreto, 1961 beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 819.000,00 versteigert wurde.
