Upper estimate price exceeded by 25 %.
In November 2021 Christies in Milan held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale, which included the work Composizione astratta by Piero Dorazio. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 43,750.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Dorazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Troppo segreto, 1961 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 819,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composizione astratta von Piero Dorazio zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 43.750,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Dorazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Troppo segreto, 1961 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 819.000,00.
