Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Piero Dorazio achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in June last year. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part I auction, the work Visita di Venere sold for EUR 756,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 360,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Piero Dorazio; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Troppo segreto, 1961 sold at auction in June last year with the realized price of EUR 819,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Piero Dorazio erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part I wurde die Arbeit Visita di Venere für EUR 756.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 360.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Piero Dorazio; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Troppo segreto, 1961 im Juni letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 819.000,00.
