In November 2013 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Sale, which included the work 4 Ritratti D'Artista by Plinio De Martiis. The result of EUR 4,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Plinio De Martiis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2013 the work 4 Ritratti D'Artista was auctioned for EUR 4,375.00.

Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 4 Ritratti D'Artista von Plinio De Martiis zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Plinio De Martiis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2013 die Arbeit 4 Ritratti D'Artista für EUR 4.375,00 versteigert.
