Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2015 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper, which included the work Marine, soleil couchant by Raoul Dufy. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 34,471.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000.00 (€ 2,075,171.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marine, soleil couchant von Raoul Dufy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 34.471,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000,00 (€ 2.075.171,47).
