Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Colombine by Raya Sorkine for EUR 72.00. This price was achieved in the auction INTERIEURS at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raya Sorkine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'espoir du peintre in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,877.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Colombine von Raya Sorkine für EUR 72,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion INTERIEURS bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raya Sorkine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'espoir du peintre im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.877,21).
