The work Jan Uytenbogaert, Preacher of the Remonstrants by Rembrandt van Rijn was sold in the Art on paper auction at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. Here, the estimate of DKK 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 10,500.00 (€ 1,408.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rembrandt van Rijn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a lady, aged 62, perhaps Aeltje Pietersdr. Uylenburgh, wife of Johannes Cornelisz. Sylvius, half-length, in black costume and a cap and collar in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 19,803,750.00 (€ 31,547,196.55).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jan Uytenbogaert, Preacher of the Remonstrants von Rembrandt van Rijn wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Art on paper bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von DKK 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 10.500,00 (€ 1.408,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rembrandt van Rijn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, aged 62, perhaps Aeltje Pietersdr. Uylenburgh, wife of Johannes Cornelisz. Sylvius, half-length, in black costume and a cap and collar im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.803.750,00 (€ 31.547.196,55).
