Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Tetti Su Via Leonina (Oggetti Su Via Leonina-Natura Morta Alla Finestra) by Renato Guttuso for EUR 47,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea at Sothebys in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Renato Guttuso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aranceto Notturno in March last year with an auction result of GBP 170,100.00 (€ 201,672.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tetti Su Via Leonina (Oggetti Su Via Leonina-Natura Morta Alla Finestra) von Renato Guttuso für EUR 47.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Renato Guttuso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aranceto Notturno im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.100,00 (€ 201.672,69).
