Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work São Paulo by René Burri was sold in the The Gift of Photographs auction at Bonhams in New York in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,147.50 (€ 938.27). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Burri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work São Paulo, Brazil in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,447.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit São Paulo von René Burri wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion The Gift of Photographs bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.147,50 (€ 938,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Burri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit São Paulo, Brazil im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.447,30).
