In September 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs from the Isadore and Kelly Friedman Collection, which included the work Ménilmontant sous la Neige, c. 1958 by René-Jacques. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,285.67), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by René-Jacques have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 2,772.00 in November last year for the work Place de l’Europe, Paris, hiver 1945.

Im September 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs from the Isadore and Kelly Friedman Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ménilmontant sous la Neige, c. 1958 von René-Jacques zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.285,67) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von René-Jacques haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.772,00 im November letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Place de l’Europe, Paris, hiver 1945 beobachtet.
