Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Untitled; and a companion work by Robert Dean Stockwell. It changed hands for a price of USD 750.00 (€ 546.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Dean Stockwell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ace, which sold at auction in January 2011 for USD 2,375.00 (€ 1,731.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled; and a companion work von Robert Dean Stockwell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 750,00 (€ 546,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Dean Stockwell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ace beobachtet, die im Januar 2011 für USD 2.375,00 (€ 1.731,68) versteigert wurde.
