The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,292.50 (€ 1,492.84), 44% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ron Galella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Windblown Jackie, October 7, 1971 in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,427.96).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.292,50 (€ 1.492,84) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ron Galella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Windblown Jackie, October 7, 1971 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.427,96).
