The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,788.51), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvador Dalí achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Paul Éluard in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 13,481,250.00 (€ 15,879,784.58).

Die Arbeit Dessin érotique von Salvador Dalí wurde im Februar 2015 in der Auktion Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.788,51) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvador Dalí erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Paul Éluard im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.481.250,00 (€ 15.879.784,58).
