Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landline Yellow Yellow by Sean Scully was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 756,000.00 (€ 878,256.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sean Scully - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Song, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 2,046,500.00 (€ 1,907,091.60).

Die Arbeit Landline Yellow Yellow von Sean Scully kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 756.000,00 (€ 878.256,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600.000,00 – 800.000,00.
