This work of art by Jean-Jacques Sempé could be acquired at Christies in Paris in December 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Patrimoine de Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Vente caritative auction, the work Sans Titre changed hands for EUR 3,200.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Jacques Sempé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 4th of July in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 69,742.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Jacques Sempé konnte im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Patrimoine de Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Vente caritative wechselte die Arbeit Sans Titre für EUR 3.200,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Jacques Sempé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 4th of July im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 69.742,00.
