Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition abstraite - 1953 by Serge Poliakoff was auctioned at Artcurial in December this year. It achieved a price of EUR 70,848.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Poliakoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge bleu jaune in September 2018 with an auction result of CNY 7,560,000.00 (€ 947,114.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition abstraite - 1953 von Serge Poliakoff kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 70.848,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Poliakoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge bleu jaune im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 7.560.000,00 (€ 947.114,09).
