Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Serge Poliakoff could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern paintings, sculptures and prints auction, the work Composition abstraite, 1966 changed hands for DKK 700,000.00 (€ 93,974.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Poliakoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge bleu jaune in September 2018 with an auction result of CNY 7,560,000.00 (€ 947,114.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Serge Poliakoff konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern paintings, sculptures and prints wechselte die Arbeit Composition abstraite, 1966 für DKK 700.000,00 (€ 93.974,36) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Poliakoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge bleu jaune im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 7.560.000,00 (€ 947.114,09).
