Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Once Upon A Time In The Hermitage Garden by Sergei Borisov for GBP 938.00 (€ 1,179.32). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary East at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sergei Borisov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Group Of Four Black And White Photographs Including The Kiss; The Touch And The Misses Of Immature Thought in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,207.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Once Upon A Time In The Hermitage Garden von Sergei Borisov für GBP 938,00 (€ 1.179,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Borisov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Group Of Four Black And White Photographs Including The Kiss; The Touch And The Misses Of Immature Thought im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.207,02).
