This work without title by Seymour Boardman was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in February 2012. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 687.50 (€ 820.89), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Seymour Boardman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work No. 5 in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 5,292.00 (€ 4,543.66).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Seymour Boardman wurde im Februar 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 687,50 (€ 820,89) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Seymour Boardman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit No. 5 im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.292,00 (€ 4.543,66).
