The work Subtle Signals by Shara Hughes was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June last year. It achieved a price of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 585,504.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Admittedly, works by Shara Hughes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spins from Swiss in May last year with an auction result of USD 2,940,000.00 (€ 2,739,726.03).

Die Arbeit Subtle Signals von Shara Hughes kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 585.504,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shara Hughes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spins from Swiss im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.940.000,00 (€ 2.739.726,03).
