Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Phillips in London held the auction Music, which included the work The Beatles by Shi Xinning. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,359.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Xinning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mao And Mccarthy in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 372,000.00 (€ 278,151.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Music durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Beatles von Shi Xinning zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.359,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Xinning erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mao And Mccarthy im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 372.000,00 (€ 278.151,64).
