Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ship in the Lake by Shiy De-Jinn was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 26,613.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shiy De-Jinn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Girl in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 644,882.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ship in the Lake von Shiy De-Jinn kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 26.613,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shiy De-Jinn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Girl im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 644.882,32).
