Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blouse & Beer Belly by Shoko Imano was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,174.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shoko Imano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Love Handle in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 295,500.00 (€ 25,832.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blouse & Beer Belly von Shoko Imano wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.174,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shoko Imano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Love Handle im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 295.500,00 (€ 25.832,11).
