Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Saint Peter Paying The Tribute With A Piece Of Silver Found In A Fish by George Hayter for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,193.17). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Hayter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Charlotte, Countess de la Bourdonnaye (1795-1875), Full-Length, In A Green Dress, Seated On A Day Bed On A Terrace, A Dog On Her Lap, Before A Draped Curtain, With An Extensive Landscape Beyond, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 46,800.00 (€ 69,360.56).

Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Saint Peter Paying The Tribute With A Piece Of Silver Found In A Fish von George Hayter für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.193,17) erwerben.
