This artwork by Stanley Boxer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2007. In the The House Sale auction, the work Frailest Fixed Night Newness sold for USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,767.16) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Stanley Boxer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lafayette Blush sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,506.82).
