The work Narcissist by Sugiyo Dwiarso was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,949.27) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sugiyo Dwiarso - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The everlasting temptation, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,284.70).

Die Arbeit Narcissist von Sugiyo Dwiarso wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.949,27) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sugiyo Dwiarso mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The everlasting temptation beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.284,70) versteigert wurde.
