Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work No. 15 Xiangluying Fourth Lane, Chun Shu, Xuanwu District, Beijing by Sze Tsung Leong for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,770.19). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sze Tsung Leong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Guanajuato I, from Cities, 2009, which sold at auction in April 2017 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,620.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit No. 15 Xiangluying Fourth Lane, Chun Shu, Xuanwu District, Beijing von Sze Tsung Leong für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.770,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sze Tsung Leong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Guanajuato I, from Cities, 2009 beobachtet, die im April 2017 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.620,47) versteigert wurde.
