Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Architectural Sketches (A Set of 9) by Tadao Ando was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 16,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 16,575.00 (€ 1,748.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tadao Ando achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Tea House in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 110,000.00 (€ 72,430.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Architectural Sketches (A Set of 9) von Tadao Ando kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 16.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 16.575,00 (€ 1.748,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tadao Ando erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Tea House im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.000,00 (€ 72.430,37).
