This artwork by Takashi Murakami achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Modern & Contemporary Art Online: Come Fly with Me auction, the work Eye Love Superflat (3 Works) sold for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,752.08) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takashi Murakami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Lonesome Cowboy in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 15,161,000.00 (€ 9,743,573.26).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Takashi Murakami erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: Come Fly with Me wurde die Arbeit Eye Love Superflat (3 Works) für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.752,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takashi Murakami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Lonesome Cowboy im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.161.000,00 (€ 9.743.573,26).
