Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Takashi Murakami x ComplexCon Mr. DOB (2 Works) by Takashi Murakami was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art Online: Come Fly with Me auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,834.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takashi Murakami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Lonesome Cowboy in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 15,161,000.00 (€ 9,743,573.26).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.834,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00.
