Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait de Kizette by Tamara de Lempicka was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale Including Property from The Collection of Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass auction at Christies in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 3,012,500.00 (€ 2,531,938.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tamara de Lempicka have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait de Marjorie Ferry in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 16,380,000.00 (€ 18,984,457.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait de Kizette von Tamara de Lempicka wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale Including Property from The Collection of Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.012.500,00 (€ 2.531.938,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500.000,00 – 3.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tamara de Lempicka auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait de Marjorie Ferry im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380.000,00 (€ 18.984.457,14).
