Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life with pears by Theo Swagemakers was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. The price achieved of EUR 478.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Theo Swagemakers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with fruits, a basket and a bowl in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 4,465.00 (€ 1,953.80).

Die Arbeit Still life with pears von Theo Swagemakers wurde im Juli 2003 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 478,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden.
