Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gokita Tomoo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Online Auction in September 2020. In the Intersect: Online Auction auction, the work without title sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,641.32) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gokita Tomoo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Be Just Like Family in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,076,000.00 (€ 965,108.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gokita Tomoo erzielte im September 2020 bei Phillips in Online Auction einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Intersect: Online Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.641,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gokita Tomoo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Be Just Like Family im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.076.000,00 (€ 965.108,98).
