The work If you say so, 1999 by Tracey Emin was sold in the British. Cool. auction at Bonhams in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,351.68), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tracey Emin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Bed in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,546,500.00 (€ 3,211,937.15).

Die Arbeit If you say so, 1999 von Tracey Emin wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion British. Cool. bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.351,68) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tracey Emin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Bed im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.546.500,00 (€ 3.211.937,15).
