In June 2021 Christies held the auction Julians Park and Six Private Collections: Live, which included the work Barges On The Swale by Tristram Hillier. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,022.32), 72% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tristram Hillier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selsey Bill in June last year with an auction result of GBP 57,000.00 (€ 66,217.79).

Im Juni 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Julians Park and Six Private Collections: Live durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barges On The Swale von Tristram Hillier zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.022,32) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tristram Hillier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selsey Bill im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 57.000,00 (€ 66.217,79).
