Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Handle With Care, which included the work Zero Gravity Painting by Trudy Benson. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,083.66). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Trudy Benson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Giant, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 25,736.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Handle With Care durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zero Gravity Painting von Trudy Benson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.083,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Trudy Benson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Giant beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 25.736,46) versteigert wurde.
