A top price for Tsai Hsia-Ling - as previously expected
The work Malerei by Tsai Hsia-Ling was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,956.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Malerei is the most expensive artwork by Tsai Hsia-Ling that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Malerei von Tsai Hsia-Ling wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.956,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Malerei das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tsai Hsia-Ling, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
