Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chaotic Summer by Tu Hongtao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 164,345.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. Other works by Tu Hongtao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work In Dream and Somnus was auctioned for CNY 1,950,000.00 (€ 279,555.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chaotic Summer von Tu Hongtao kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 164.345,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Tu Hongtao konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit In Dream and Somnus für CNY 1.950.000,00 (€ 279.555,33) versteigert.
