Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Tunga was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2016. The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 64,993.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Tunga have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2014 the work Palíndromo incesto was auctioned for USD 149,000.00 (€ 109,237.54).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 64.993,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Tunga konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2014 die Arbeit Palíndromo incesto für USD 149.000,00 (€ 109.237,54) versteigert.
