Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ursula von Rydingsvard was sold in the By Women, For Tomorrow's Women auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,462.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ursula von Rydingsvard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ona in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 163,532.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ursula von Rydingsvard wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion By Women, For Tomorrow's Women bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.462,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ursula von Rydingsvard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ona im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 163.532,30).
