Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included this untitled work by Valerie Jaudon. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,413.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valerie Jaudon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kreole in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 19,047.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Valerie Jaudon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.413,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valerie Jaudon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kreole im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 19.047,62).
