Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern paintings, sculptures and prints auction, the work “Kærlighedens vegetative triumf” (The vegetative triumph of love) changed hands for DKK 32,000.00 (€ 4,295.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,120.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern paintings, sculptures and prints wechselte die Arbeit “Kærlighedens vegetative triumf” (The vegetative triumph of love) für DKK 32.000,00 (€ 4.295,97) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.120,59).
