Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cast Me Not Away from Thy Presence by Vladimir Kupriyanov was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 30,058.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vladimir Kupriyanov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cast Me Not Away From Your Presence, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 70,100.00 (€ 88,062.99).
